Greeting fellow Deviants! To those of you who have inquired, The Novel is coming along smoothly. Three more Chapters have been finished, --and I am getting closer to being able to shift gears into the editing and revisions phase. I hope to offer the novel on schedule at the close of summer. Dianne's Dream

I think Dianne came back one last time to let me know she has no need to return. It's a little weird, but oddly satisfying, who would have thought a sense of abandonment was a positive thing? A little back story. When I was in school Dianne was a constant acquaintance. Never a lover as we grew older, or a confidant when we were younger, just someone who I remember for her shy smile and over the years an infectious soft laugh. While moving up grade levels, classes tended to pull Dianne and I further apart. She excelled academically, and I learned the fine art of skipping school and still making passing grades. Two months in, into this bizarre manifestation of creativity, I suspended disbelief and realized I was actually writing. Living, and thinking as a writer. Waking each day with aspirations and ideas to get down on pages. Slowly learning nuances of using grammatical usage I had forgotten from English class. Thanking god for spell check, and generally learning to enjoy the challenge. Around the close of the first few weeks after I started jotting down ideas for my novel, I was in a state of writers block. Not so much, I didn't know what, or how to start writing. I had overloaded myself with so many elements I wanted to incorporate in my story,
